Genuine Ronix or Not? How to Check, and Where to Buy in Saudi Arabia
Share
Ronix is now common enough in Saudi Arabia that copies and grey imports have appeared alongside it. A copy costs less on the day and more in the first month: no warranty, no spare parts, and a motor that was never tested to the spec on the box. Here is how to tell.
Five checks before you pay
- Model number exists. Every Ronix tool carries a model number (3150N, 2725, RH-4605…). Search it on ronixtools.com; if the page does not exist or shows a different tool, walk away.
- Barcode on the colour box. Genuine retail boxes carry an EAN-13 barcode printed on the box, not a sticker added later.
- Rating plate matches the box. Wattage, voltage and model on the tool's plate must match the carton and the product page.
- Warranty is written down. Ask what the warranty is and who honours it. A genuine Ronix sold by an authorized distributor in Saudi Arabia comes with 2 Years Warranty handled locally.
- VAT invoice with a CR number. A seller who cannot issue a VAT invoice cannot give you a warranty either.

What the warranty covers
Manufacturing and material defects in normal use for two years from the invoice date. It does not cover consumables (discs, bits, brushes, batteries worn by use), damage from overload, water, or opening the tool. Keep the invoice; it is the warranty document.
A note on price
If a listing is far below the current Ronix price list, it is usually an old model, a carton-damaged unit, or not Ronix. Ask before you order.
